Clinica Veterinaria dr Tomassini will be the venue of the module 2 of the first (basic) level anaesthesia course (AN12), 13th through 15th of May 2013. The three-day course will include a full day in theatre: anaesthetic machine check, breathing system selection, FGF and vaporizer setting, respiratory physiology, and assessment of alveolar ventilation will be part of both lectures and practical. Eventually, clinical cases will allow delegates to become familiar with perioperative management of dogs and cats undergoing inhalant anaesthesia, assisted ventilation, and basic anaesthetic monitoring.
