The second (advanced) level anaesthesia course (AN22) will be on-line (Zoom) the 11th and 12th of May. Clinical cases from Futuravet Vetrinary Hospital in Tolentino will be on-line the 20th of May.
The three-day course will include the following topics: an overview of most popular mechanical ventilators, IPPV settings, PEEP indications and contraindications, halothane vs isoflurane vs sevoflurane, ET-agent monitoring and MAC in dogs and cats, inhalant induction and recovery strategies. Management of clinical cases in OR will be part of the course.
