Academia: what is it?
The new ISVRA high-standard educational project.
The mission:
to provide hands-on high-standard continuing education in a clinical setting.
Where is it?
in Bologna, Milan and Rome.

Courses
Topics: a maximum of two per course; Scientific level: based on actual knowledge of participants; Duration: two days; Language: Italian, English.
Attendance:
two participants with similar knowledge and skills per course, only.
Academia ISVRA is now available. It is the first hands-on anaesthesia course in Italy ever.
Just two participants per course, spending two days in theatre, dealing with just few selected topics. Participants will have the chance to understand in deep anaesthesia key points, and become more confident. Topics will be selected according to their needs.
The hands-on sessions will include the use of advanced monitoring systems, anaesthesia ventilators, syringe drivers, infusion pumps, etc.
Clinical rounds, planning of anaesthetic procedures, perioperative analgesia, postoperative intensive care, state-of-the-art lectures, and journal club will be included.

We will provide you an application form (.doc) to fill in order to know your knowledge and skills, and the time of the year you would prefer to attend. In order to improve teaching and make learning easier, we will manage to run Academia sessions with participants having similar knowledge, skills and interests.
